Chinese New Year … The Year of the Fire Horse

Oops 😬….A little late posting this one but better late than never , as the celebrations in Birmingham Chinatown for Chinese New Year… have to be mentioned!

Wow …what an honour to be painting for the Birmingham Hippodrome again this year to celebrate The Year of The Fire Horse .
Such a well organised, vibrant celebration which featured dance & theatre performances, Chinese market stalls, street food , the lion dance , funfair rides and of course face painting ! 

The sun shone and it was an amazing day of non stop painting & glittering where people from far and wide had travelled to join in the celebrations & atmosphere .

It was a proud day to be a brummie!

And thank you to the organisers for all their hard work, amazing communication, for all the lovely people we met …and also a huge thank you to the dedicated volunteers who managed the face painting queue !
